UX/UI DESIGN Redo Application - Case Study

Product:
We create a platform where people, concerned about global climate issues can find well-organised and trustable informationfeasible steps to act and everyday advices; events to participate in; challenges to keep them motivated and support from other like-minded users.

Value proposition:
Users can engage in a friendly community and enjoy socializing, learn scientific facts about the issue in a comprehensible manner, measure their impact easily,  and track their progress.
You can skip the case study and just check the prototypes below or...
Check the full process I have documented by stages:
Testing showed few problems for me to examine:

1. Active Challenge section looks like a warning, it's not possible to see finished challenges and is not aesthetically pleasant, so it is replaced by a menu, showing categories, active challenges and completed challenges.

2. Time filtering for challenges is pointless on this stage, because every category has the same types of schedule, so the architecture is changed, and it is moved to the next stage after picking up challenge category.
3. We would like to give users the opportunity to search easy and quickly whatever they need and this option was missing by now. I incorporated the search bar in every possible screen so it is easy to find. The users liked the new version and would like to see an animation of the searching magnifier (that would be good to show response from the system)
4. The CO2 calculator needed to provide some guidance for the users, so they can take well informed decision on their responses in order to get a precise calculation. I decided to incorporate tooltips on every stage of the questionnaire.
